About The Role

Are you someone who has a strong background in administration and rotas? Do you have the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels? Are you looking for a new role that lets you work flexibly from home?

This new and exciting role within our National Team is to support the existing team with Resource Administration tasks – helping us to quickly and efficiently get our staff ready to start working within the National Homeworking Clinicians Team and ensuring the staff rotas are proactively filled to deliver a smooth service to our patients.

This is a mostly remote based role, with one or two days a week in one of our Integrated Urgent Care offices; London, Reading, Devon, Bristol, Ipswich or West Midlands. Occasional travel to various Practice Plus Group sites across the UK, including Ipswich where a large portion of the team is based.

As the largest independent provider of NHS services, Practice Plus Group have improved and simplified access to non-emergency health care, reducing pressures on other services and staff. We enjoy offering patients, where applicable a full range of services, including specialist advice from allied health professionals, direct booking into primary care centres and referrals to community, primary and secondary care services.

What you'll be doing

  • Rota Management: Create clinical rotas to ensure adequate cover across Integrated Urgent Care (IUC)
  • Filling Rotas: Proactively fill vacant shifts by liaising with clinicians. Using the allocation wizard and web booking on rota master.
  • Compliance: Ensure all clinicians meet compliance requirements and maintain accurate records.
  • Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new clinicians, ensuring they are fully trained and compliant before their first shift.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with clinical staff to ensure smooth rota management.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to achieve common goals and support each other in managing the rota effectively.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support as required by the service, including answering phones, filing, and other tasks. Reporting: Compile and manage databases and spreadsheets, and produce internal and external reports as needed.
  • Risk Management: Identify and report any potential risks, such as staff shortages, to the WFPRM.
  • Training: Attend regular training sessions and stay updated with new protocols and procedures.

What we’ll look for in you

Essential

  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills to facilitate effective rota cover.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
