What You Will Do

As a Sr. Finance Manager, you will partner with the Orthopedic and Spine teams to provide strategic financial guidance and support.

  • Lead the preparation of all financial analyses required to make informed business decisions.
  • Coordinate the preparation and analyzes of the operating performance and profit projections for reporting and developing action items: Weekly Orders/Sales/Op. Income Reporting, Monthly Flash, Actuals, Projections, as well as ad-hoc reporting for Group President, Group CFO, and Corporate Finance team
  • Will perform key role in development and ongoing preparation of Monthly Management Financial Packet containing critical reports providing one stop data package for Group leaders to understand drivers, metrics and overall financial performance of the Divisions and Group
  • Generate Group President financial scorecards, participate in Group and Divisional bonus metric scale development and incorporate into a tracking tool, perform periodic
  • Participates in monthly forecasting process, annual Strategic Plan and Budget processes for the O&S Group including pro-forma template generation, modeling, consolidating and analysis
  • Maintain appropriate internal control documents.
  • Interface with Corporate Office regarding risk management, treasury, tax planning/execution, budgets, capital expenditures and other matters.
  • Ability to communicate to a non-finance audience, communicate the message effectively, and demonstrate how the financial data ties into strategic business objectives
  • Utilize networking skills to build relationships with stakeholders, finance or otherwise, across a variety of departments within the business
  • Manage a diverse finance team, including selection/hiring, objective-setting, performance management, compensation management, discipline/termination, coaching, training, development and succession planning of finance staff, either directly or indirectly.

What You Need

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferred concentration in Accounting or Finance, CMA and MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of job specific work experience with demonstrated people management and professional growth and achievement in an organization of comparable size, business diversity, scope and complexity.
  • Ability to strategically access complex business processes and systems.
  • Ability to partner across multiple divisions, functions and employee levels, including senior leadership.
  • Ability to prepare complex reports, provide business analytics, and present information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially to senior management.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines, especially during peak project milestones.
