Stockroom Storekeeper

The Ministry of Corrections and Policing has an opportunity for a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the permanent full time stockroom position at the Regina Correctional Centre (RCC).

The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operation of the stockroom. Primary responsibilities of the stockroom position include:

• Controlling and overseeing security and operational efficiency in the stores operation.
• Administering a work/train program for inmates.
• Maintaining inventory and detailed ordering of all supplies for the Correctional Center.
• Maintaining procurement contracts for offender clothing, toiletries, bedding and cleaning products.
• Distribution of supplies and canteen within Correctional Center.
• Scheduling supply deliveries and following all security procedures when trucks arrive.
