Student Assistant - Administrative Support

Your function

In this role you will help with arranging contracts for Teaching Assistants at the Computer Science department at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. You will also assist with various administrative tasks.

Your duties

• Helping with administrative procedure related to contracts arrangement
• Assisting with various administrative tasks
• Helping with events organization
• Assisting with trainings organization

Your profile

Requirements

• you are a student enrolled at a Dutch University
• you have administrative and problem solving skills
• you work accurately and independently
• you can work with people from different cultural backgrounds
• you have an excellent spoken and written command of English
• you are available for 4-6 hours/week for at least 7 months

What do we offer?

A position at Computer Science department with great colleagues. The successful candidate will work with us in the NU building at the VU campus. On full-time basis the remuneration amounts to a minimum gross monthly salary of € 2925 (scale 101) and a maximum of € 2981 (scale 103), depending on your level of education. The job profile is based on the university job ranking system and is vacant for 6h/week (0.16FTE).

The initial employment contract will affect a period of 7 months, including a 2 months probation period. Afterwards, the possibility of expansion exists.
