The Compute Software Group (CSG) Technical Support Team works to triage, remediate, and resolve internal and customer issues, including end-to-end configuration and setup issues, release testing, and defect validation. They support the entire CSG portfolio of products and services including OneView, Image Streamer, Global Dashboard, Compute Ops Management, and iLO . They ensure that our HPE customers are able to continue successfully running in both non-production and production environments.

The Technical Support Program Manager would need to be a creative, engaged, and flexible leader to work in this dynamic and evolving landscape to help us deliver to our product- and our as-a-Service solutions to our customers.

The Technical Support Program Manager would drive the process details across the full CSG portfolio including defect deferrals, Known Issue tracking, Jira template enhancements and dashboards, along with pushing for consistency and alignment of all processes across all products and services in the CSG portfolio. They would drive the creation of Tech Support metrics and create awareness to patterns. They would shadow the Team Manager and be able to cover when she is out.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages and leads a program involving multiple functions and project teams to drive the engineering development and implementation process for a product or service offering.
  • Develops and directs development of schedules, critical deliverables, budget, resource allocation plan, and other support requirements for assigned program.
  • Manages activities of supporting project teams and internal development partners; ensures progress against established plan and makes determinations based on analysis of business information to alter or update schedule and resource allocation to meet product requirements and development schedule.
  • Communicates program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to product stakeholders; collaborates with management and internal manufacturing and development partners to recommend and implement changes to product, processes, or business practices to resolve escalated issues, produce solutions, and ensure adherence to budgets and established product roadmaps and schedules
  • Drives innovation and integration of new technologies and quality initiatives into projects and activities in the manufacturing and/or engineering organization.
  • Leads and provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent.
  • Typically 6-10 years experience.
  • Extensive experience with using project and program planning tools and software packages to create, manage, and track project results.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and successful experience managing all aspects of programs, including communicating with stakeholders and directing matrixed teams and resources.
  • Ability to effectively communicate program plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at senior management levels.
  • PMP/PMI certification preferred.

The expected salary/wage range for a U.S.-based hire filling this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. Annual Salary: $98,000.00 - $225,500.00
