Administrator (Part Time)

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our existing team of administrators in the Acoustics, Fluid Mechanics, Energy & Turbomachinery Division. Based at the Department's site in Trumpington Street, but with occasional visits to the Whittle Laboratory in West Cambridge as required, you will provide secretarial/administrative assistance to staff within the Division, including academics and administrators, as well as provide support for the Aerosol CDT.
In conjunction with the other administrators in the Division, you will support the coordination and administrative operation of the Acoustics, Energy, Fluid Mechanics and Turbomachinery groups to ensure the smooth running of teaching and learning/research activities. You will also be required to maintain the Divisional website and social media accounts.
Educated to HND/HNC, level 4/5 vocational qualifications or an equivalent level of practical experience, you will be an experienced user of Microsoft Office and possess excellent organisational skills. Previous administrative experience, accuracy and attention to detail are essential attributes for this role coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 12 months in the first instance.
