Key Responsibilities:

• Academic Support:
• Assist students in developing their educational plans and selecting appropriate courses.
• Provide guidance on academic requirements and help students understand institutional policies.
• Support students in tracking their academic progress and identifying areas for improvement.
• Career Guidance:
• Help students explore career options based on their interests and strengths.
• Provide resources and advice on job search strategies, resume writing, and interview preparation.
• Conduct workshops and seminars on career development topics.
• Personal Development:
• Offer support to students facing personal challenges that may impact their academic performance.
• Refer students to appropriate mental health services as needed.
• Promote student wellness and resilience through various programs and initiatives.
• Outreach and Engagement:
• Participate in orientation sessions for new students to introduce them to available resources.
• Develop informational materials to promote counseling services.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance student support services.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Minimum of 16 years of education in Counseling, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
• Experience:
• No prior experience required; this internship is designed to provide training and professional development opportunities.

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport and maintain effective relationships with students and colleagues.
• Basic knowledge of counseling practices and ethical standards.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

• This is an onsite position located at our Gujrat office.
